Entertainment
Louisville has a variety of family-oriented entertainment choices. In town you can catch the latest movies at the Colony Square movie theatre, and art lovers can attend exhibits and lectures at the Louisville Center for the Arts in Memory Square Park. Louisville also puts you and your employees half an hour from Denver's world-class Performing Arts Center where you can see The Denver Opera, Colorado Ballet, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, and national theatre productions. Your tickets to the NFL, NBA , and Major League Baseball are also only 25 minutes away at Invensco Field, the Pepsi Center and Coors' Field, respectively. And if that is not enough, pop into Boulder to see the C.U. Buffs compete or go hear great music of all genres happening any night of the week.
Dining
For a small city, Louisville offers an amazing array of great dining opportunities. Cuisine celebrating the City's Italian heritage is available in Historic Downtown at the world famous Blue Parrot (open since 1917). Historic Downtown also features a line-up of great family-owned ethnic restaurants including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Mexican cuisine, and other great options ranging from donuts to fine dining at the Melting Pot and the Empire Lounge. The hand-carved bar at the Old Louisville Inn is worth a visit all by itself.
A selection of national and Colorado staples are found on McCaslin Boulevard, and small gems including several excellent ethnic restaurants can be found in every corner of town. Bottom line, you never have to leave Louisville to get great food.
